Health Pass (Pase de Salud)

All visitors, nationals and residents coming into Costa Rica must complete an electronic epidemiological  Health Pass form online before flying.

This form can be found in English here https://salud.go.cr.

On completion of the form you will receive a QR code. You can either take a screen shot of this and store it in your phone or you can print this QR code.

Before boarding your plane you will be asked to scan or show the QR code. Please allow extra time prior to boarding your flight for this process to happen.

On arrival in Costa Rica you will need to show the QR code again as you show your passport or Costa Rican ID (cedula) at Immigration.

I recently travelled back from Europe and the process was smooth. There was confusion at the gate before boarding the plane as many people did not know of the requirement and were completing the Health Pass whilst waiting in the line. Do it before and walk on to show your QR code.
